Our dad turned 60 at the heart of the pandemic. As much as we wanted a grander celebration, we did not want to risk a big celebration to be a super-spreader.
So we celebrated at home, the best way we could.
We ordered a cake from our favourite cake artist from Bulacan, Cafie Bakery.
Our dad is a superman, so we made sure that the cake had the superhero body and my dad's face. So cute. We really love having personalised cakes for our celebrations!
We also had customised cookies (printed but edible) that had Mobile Legends characters and skins because my dad loves playing that game.
We also got him a cute balloon set with a pull-up money pouch set that contained mostly Php 20-peso bills 😂 It has a few big peso bills at the end, to the delight of our dad. Now we can match his dad jokes with this cute prank.
On my way to our house, I and my dad filmed a Tiktok thanks to more tatay jokes we had. It's inspired by what's in my bag videos made by celebrities.
I showed my bag and my essentials. Of course, we had the classic plastic container (aka "tupperware" small "T" because we didn't have that brand on my bag).
This small container will be filled with food (Shanghai!) after the small get-together. In true Pinoy style of "konting handaan", mayroong pagsha-Sharon na magaganap. IYKYK 👀

Our very first post on this site honours mothers. Now, it's time to honour our dads and all the father figures in our life!
